Why we do what we do

Creating a difference means thinking differently

In today's fast-paced, chaotic world, instinct tells us to make quick decisions. When what we really need is the space to make considered decisions. We give you that sacred space. To reflect, to think, to lead.

Our history

Throughout our history, our ambition has been to help shape the futures of everyone we have worked with. In 1993, our founding partner Guy McDonnell had a vision; born from a belief that organisations and people are capable of so much more than we typically achieve. Sixteen years later in 2009 our company was formed.

Today, we help organisations around the world release that potential. As practitioners in leadership and organisation development, we know how to unlock performance in leaders, teams and organisations.

We are constantly learning, both from our clients and the business world around us, to ensure we can help more leaders have more impact, shaping more effective teams and more purposeful organisations.

Our purpose

Helping leaders create a purposeful future.

All levels of the organisation enjoy spending time with Guy and find his presence stimulating - he never comes across as too much of a suit - quite the contrary he is always extremely human and not afraid to be vulnerable which makes him very relatable considering his background and expert credentials.

our values

When we asked our clients to choose one word to describe our partnership, the same word was repeated again and again. Trust.

It’s the one thing any partnership can’t live without. The mutual respect and belief in each other that ensures we are all moving in the same direction. Trust is what our values are built on:

Rigour

Thorough analysis. Insightful direction. Sustainability of solution.

“Taking great pains over analysis to discover the deep insight which makes impact sustainable.”

Unique impact

An outcome reached. A route discovered.

“Making a substantial difference which is highly bespoke to the context in which - and people with whom - we are working.”

Collective energy

Harnessing spirit and vigour.

“Catalysing the visceral energy – and alignment - of the group of people with whom we are working.”

Covenant relationship

Focus on your long-term success (by your own definition).

“Wholeheartedly committing to the long-term success and nourishing of the individuals with whom we work.”
